                信號通路是指當細胞里要發(fā)生某種反應(yīng)時，信號從細胞外到細胞內(nèi)傳遞了一種信息，細胞要根據(jù)這種信息來做出反應(yīng)的現(xiàn)象。信號通路是指能將細胞外的分子信號經(jīng)細胞膜傳入細胞內(nèi)發(fā)揮效應(yīng)的一系列酶促反應(yīng)通路。這些細胞外的分子信號（稱為配體，ligand）包括激素、生長因子、細胞因子、神經(jīng)遞質(zhì)以及其它小分子化合物等。signaling pathway，Describes a series of chemical reactions in which a group of molecules in a cell work together to control a cell function, such as cell division or cell death. A cell receives signals from its environment when a molecule, such as a hormone or growth factor, binds to a specific protein receptor on or in the cell. After the first molecule in the pathway receives a signal, it activates another molecule. This process is repeated through the entire signaling pathway until the last molecule is activated and the cell function is carried out. Abnormal activation of signaling pathways may lead to diseases, such as cancer. Drugs are being developed to target specific molecules involved in these pathways.
